Finding a Barrel

Well last night was another heavy traffic night so all I did was eat supper. I think next year I'll take this week off. Its just not worth being gone for 13 hours and only working 8 of them.

I just finished reading my bible study buddy Leah's post and she's having a hard time with stopping when full. I must say that this morning I had a pumpkin muffin but didn't eat it all and then I went to grab a cookie about 2 hours later, (someone gave us some for Christmas) and I took a bite and didn't feel like eating it. I didn't want to walk to the trash barrel (we have barrels at our desk but only for recyclable trash) and I just ended up eating the rest of it. It was a small cookie but I should've made the effort to walk to the barrel to get rid of it especially since I wasn't even hungry for it.

I haven't been praying like I should when eating. I am so routine M-F I usually have my prayers while driving in my car to and from the van but I also should be trying right before I eat. I must say that I do say "grace" though.

Have a Great Day!!!

Take Care

Jane

Jane, you're too funny. Should I assume it's Cory who takes out the trash at home, then?

Here's a suggestion about praying throughout the day: maybe post 1 or 2 verses that might keep you focused & put them in view at your desk, on the fridge, whatever....such as " No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it. "
(1 Corinthians 10:13, NIV) OR
"for drunkards and gluttons become poor, and drowsiness clothes them in rags." (Proverbs 23:21)

Or any other verse that might encourage you. Love ya...see ya tomorrow night, Dainna
